Artistic Statement:

 

Art speaks to me in distinctive ways. As a painter, art is the poetry of color, light. and form. As a poet, painting helps me transcend the optical dialectic from invisible to visible. As a musician both combine to access the shadowy vibrations of the psyche. To strive artistically is a dangerous joy that can take me to the very limits of self; however, when it illuminates the imagination, it gives current, undertow and quality to life itself.

 

 

Biography:

 

After many years as a clinical social worker and court advocate, my retirement to Southern New Jersey has given me the opportunity to reconnect with my lifelong interest in art. The past few years have been devoted to the creative pursuit and development in the areas of painting, writing and music.
